Scope and acceptance
These terms govern your use of PrimalDesk accounts, the Windows host, client software and related online services during the current testing period. By creating an account or using a host or client, you agree to these terms. If you deploy PrimalDesk for an organization, you must be authorized to accept them and administer the systems involved. Do not use the service if you cannot agree to the terms or lack that authority.
Beta access and changes
PrimalDesk is in development. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, guarantee an invitation or promise a release date. We may limit invitations, features, capacity, supported platforms or availability while testing. We will not silently convert a free or beta account into a paid subscription. Public checkout, prices, service levels and refund terms are not currently offered; any future paid plan will require its own disclosed terms before a charge is made.
Accounts and permissions
Keep your sign-in credentials and recovery channels secure. Use accurate account information and notify us promptly of suspected compromise. A host owner controls invitations and memberships, but must verify that each invited person is authorized to access the machine and the Windows account used for the session. An invitation to a PrimalDesk host does not grant rights to data, software or Windows accounts beyond those the machine owner may lawfully provide.
Windows and third-party licenses
You are responsible for the operating system, applications, GPU drivers and any Microsoft licenses required for your deployment. PrimalDesk does not issue Windows Server licenses or Remote Desktop Services CALs and does not determine whether your organization has enough of them. See RDS licensing guidance and the terms supplied by the relevant software vendors. A technically successful session does not prove license compliance.
Host administration and connectivity
The host owner is responsible for installing updates, protecting administrator credentials and private keys, configuring Windows accounts, backups, firewall policy and permitted users, and assessing the security of the host network. The host needs an ongoing connection to PrimalDesk services for entitlement checks, remote configuration, active-session administration and security policy. If that connection is unavailable, new access or policy changes may fail. Do not treat a firewall opening, direct route or saved device ID as independent authorization.
Sessions and your content
You control the Windows machine and the content handled in its sessions. Disconnecting a client does not necessarily sign out the Windows user or save open work; a later user of the same Windows credentials may resume the same session. Use distinct Windows accounts for distinct people. You are responsible for backups and for deciding what information users may access, copy or transfer. We do not claim ownership of your session content. Processing of account and connection metadata is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not access systems or accounts without permission, bypass security or licensing controls, interfere with other users or networks, distribute malware, use stolen credentials, or use PrimalDesk in violation of applicable law or third-party rights. Do not probe or overload the service outside an authorized security-testing arrangement. We may investigate credible abuse and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
Security and incident reports
Report suspected vulnerabilities or account compromise to security@primaldesk.com. Include enough detail to investigate without sending passwords or private session content. We may temporarily restrict an affected account or host while addressing an active security risk and will restore access when reasonably possible.
Availability and technical limits
Session quality depends on Windows, the host GPU and applications, the client device, and networks outside PrimalDesk's control. Direct connectivity and an experimental relay are not guaranteed on every network. We may maintain, update or interrupt beta services; save work before ending a session. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular frame rate or compatibility with every application, but this does not remove rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
Suspension and account closure
You may stop using PrimalDesk and request account deletion from Account settings, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend access for a material breach, a credible security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practicable and safe, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contest a mistaken restriction. Suspension of PrimalDesk access does not remove your Windows data from a machine you control.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. To the extent the law permits, each party is responsible for losses it causes through its own breach or misuse; PrimalDesk is not responsible for a third-party network, software or machine outside its control. Any enforceable limit of liability for a future paid service must be stated in the applicable paid terms, not inferred from this beta notice.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be presented with an effective date and, where appropriate, notice through the account or email before they take effect. Continued use after an effective change means acceptance only where the law permits that method; if you disagree, stop using the service and request closure of your account.
